The Story of PHEAL — Turning Nothings into Somethings

When you think of learning, what do you pheal? By definition, learning is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, attitudes, and preferences…but what has it become? Do people actively learn anymore? Are we evolving or are we all just consuming information that’s fed to us, with no real moral compass.

In the new age of information, it’s insane to think just how much content, and more importantly, how many different content types are out there. Is the source reliable? Is this verified information? It’s so easy to miss what could be an opportunity for learning due to the medium or lack of access to resources or, the intent behind it. 

PHEAL is an educational platform designed to rethink how we approach learning in the modern world. A genuine educational experience takes our world and breaks it open, giving us the space for an honest exploration of our society and culture where no topic is too taboo and every voice has a chance to be heard. 

Our community is made up of vibrant creatives, practitioners and professionals that come from all different backgrounds, disciplines, fields and schools of thought. And as a community, we all have a shared vision of bringing education through alternative, innovative and creative collaboration and learning. 

Evolution is how we got here. Our evolution is how we get where we’re destined to be. 

PHEAL’s mission transcends providing information in the traditional sense. We aim to create new patterns and systems to cut through the noise and curate a learning experience that inspires, encourages and gives rise to a bold community of learners, thinkers and change-makers. From the artist to the activist, the techie to the entrepreneur, there’s a space and a community here to support you, guide you, and push you forward in your evolution. 

We may walk individual paths, but our journeys are all connected in one way or another. If you think about it, each of us has the power to make ripples when we speak out, show up and stand up. Alone, the ripples may be small but together, they touch and expand to create waves.  Inside all of us, there is something to be shared – a resource, a lesson, an experience, a story. And you’ll never know the impact of what it may have unless you release it into the world.
